Dr Sara Walker, director of the Centre for Energy at Newcastle University, and Dr Zoya Pourmirza, theme lead of security and resilience, have contributed to the UK Government consultation on Energy Sector Digitalisation POSTnote.

POSTnotes are short briefing notes that collect scientific views and evidence and aim to inform Parliamentarians on scientific subjects. The Newcastle University ABC-RP team were part of the consultation team, and their research provided evidence to inform this state-of-the-art analysis.

Contributions also including helping to draft the report and provide advice on the structure of the paper, as well as its technical details. In the final stage, the team were invited to take part as external reviewers of the briefing report and provide final feedback.
