The Active Building Centre Research Programme is a core part of the UK’s Transforming Construction Industrial Challenge programme and brings together expertise from across industry and academia.

The team is working closely with our academic community and wider stakeholders to support research activities and align outputs that contribute to meeting the targets set in the Construction 2025 strategy.

Each of the team is pushing to reshape the way we design, build and live in houses while significantly reducing the carbon impact of the UK’s built environment.
